YOUTH MINISTRIES
LBC has a comprehensive youth ministry catering for all ages – from babies and toddlers to young adults. The ministries for the various age ranges are described below.
LBC follows the EMBA Safeguarding Procedure for Churches (see the link at the foot of the page for further details).
Crèche (0 - 4)
All little ones aged four and under are welcome to join us at LBC crèche. We have a wonderful group of leaders and helpers who are ready to introduce the Bible through stories, craft and play.
Our crèche sessions take place during the morning service while the sermon is being preached. We ask that all children under the age of one are accompanied by a parent or guardian in crèche. Older children may be left in the care of crèche staff while parents/guardians return to the service, but only if the adult-to-children ratio allows: the decision will also be at the leaders’ discretion.
LIGHT KS1: (5-7)
LIGHT (Learning In God’s House Together)
An hour of free fun activities with Bible stories, songs, crafts and games at Lincoln Baptist Church.
Sundays 10.45‒11.45am (during the Sunday service in the back hall).
LIGHT begins by welcoming all families (with children) to join together at 10.30am with the whole church for fellowship and worship before continuing in the back ball at 10.45am for LIGHT activities.
This is a session for Key Stage 1 children (5‒7-year-olds).
All primary-aged children are welcome to attend (parent supervision is not required, although a child/parent information/consent form will need to be completed on the first visit).
We plan a range of activities to help children hear and learn about the Bible and grow in love, knowledge and faith in Jesus. We encourage them to share this faith, knowledge and love with those around them.

Flaming Eagles KS3 (11-14), KS4 (14-16) & 17
Flaming Eagles is a ministry for young people in Key Stage 3 (11–14), Key Stage 4 (11–16), and 17-year-olds, providing teaching and fellowship on Sundays. Currently, the book of Romans is being studied. Once a month the Bible study time is set aside for fellowship, and every six weeks there is a Q & A discussion based on topics put forward by the young people.
IMPACT (18-25)
IMPACT – this is a ministry to young adults offering a combination of Bible literacy, apologetics (i.e. a reasoned and robust defence of biblical truth) and discipleship, as well as promoting integration into the church body as a whole. IMPACT meets each week on a Wednesday from 7:00–8:30pm with most of the sessions at the church. You are most welcome to attend.
